Sues’ Kitchen – Salmon & Cream Cheese Spread

Here’s how to make it:

  • One 250g tub cream cheese (you could use lite cream cheese by why bother)
  • 100g Smoked Salmon slices
  • Capers to taste. (I use about 1Tblsp)
  • 1Tblsp Dirty International Olive Brine (I like it Dirty but you may want to start with 1Tsp and add more if needed)
  • Cracked Pepper to taste.

Blitz in your blitzing machine (I have a Thermomix but a food processor works just as well) until creamy.

Adjust the flavour to taste.

Ideas for consumption:

  • As it was intended spread on a lovely warm Bagel
  • On toast for breakfast
  • Elevate a cooked breakfast with poached egg on toast and spinach with a dollop of spread on the side
  • On a grazing platter with carrot sticks and bread
  • With crackers and a Dirty Martini if you’re winding down at the end of the day.
